The 5 Lands Walk is back in 2026, celebrating it’s 20th year of connecting people to people and people to place.

Join us on Saturday 20th June 2026 along the 10km walk from Macmasters Beach, Copacabana, Avoca, North Avoca and Terrigal.

Celebrate our amazing community with each land showcasing an array of cultural diversity, art and music. You can walk the entire route, or catch the free Busways shuttles between each beach to enjoy the festive atmosphere at each space.

What’s on at the 5 Lands?

MACMASTERS BEACH
- Saturday 20th June 2026

As the official starting point of the journey, walkers gather from early morning to share breakfast, connect with friends and community, and prepare for the day ahead. The gentle rhythm of Tai Chi on the sand offers a moment of calm and reflection before the walk begins, creating a peaceful connection between people, place and ocean.

At 8am, thousands of participants set off together along the coastline, beginning a powerful shared experience that celebrates community, culture and connection on Darkinjung Country.

COPACABANA BEACH
- Saturday 20th June 2026

Copacabana Beach is the second coastal village visited along the 5 Lands Walk journey, welcoming walkers with creativity, community spirit and a vibrant beachside atmosphere. Visitors canto explore the Art Show upstairs at the Copacabana Surf Life Saving Club, showcasing local artists and creative talent. History also comes alive through a fascinating local history display curated by Elaine Norling, offering insights into the stories and heritage of the area. Families can enjoy interactive circus activities and hands-on entertainment, adding a playful energy to the day, while the local shops, cafés and restaurants provide the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge and experience the warm hospitality that makes Copacabana such a special part of the Central Coast community.

AVOCA BEACH
- Saturday 20th June 2026

Avoca Beach sits at the vibrant heart of the 5 Lands Walk, offering walkers an exciting celebration of diverse cultures through music, dance and creativity. Home of EPHEMERA BEACH SCULPTURES, Pianos for the People and the uplifting voices of the Ephemera Choir, creating moments of connection and collective joy beside the ocean.

Upstairs at the Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club, visitors can explore a diverse Art Show featuring local artists and creative works, while a mobile stage and live DJ bring rhythm and atmosphere to the beachfront.

NORTH AVOCA BEACH
- Saturday 20th June 2026

North Avoca Beach offers walkers a space for reflection, mindfulness and creative connection.

Surrounded by the calming rhythm of the ocean, participants are invited to slow down and reconnect through a series of immersive wellness and artistic activities. Join the Vocal Activation Workshop, The Yin Class or immerse yourself in the interactive Mandala Installation on the beach, inviting walkers to contribute to a collaborative artwork that symbolises unity, community and the interconnected spirit of the walk. Together, these experiences create a peaceful and grounding moment within the journey from beach to beach..

TERRIGAL BEACH
- Saturday 20th June 2026

Terrigal Beach marks the final leg of the 5 Lands Walk journey, where walkers gather to celebrate the spirit of connection, community and country.

The Closing Celebrations bring the beachfront alive with music, dance, art installations, market stalls and cultural experiences that reflect the diversity and creativity of the Central Coast community.
