Art in the Open features about 30 artists making works on the day of the 5 Lands Walk. They are located at various points along the Walk from Macmasters to Terrigal.

5 Lands Art in the Open 2024
Each year there are about thirty artists located along the route of the 5 Lands Walk on from Macmasters Beach all the way to Terrigal through Copacabana, Avoca and North Avoca.
We call it the 5 Lands Art in the Open and it happens on the same day as the 5 Lands Walk.
You’ll be able to meet and talk to some great Australian visual artists practising multiple genres (many who happen to be Central Coast locals) as they create art in the open.
Watch them as they interpret the land and seascapes, on the spot!
Later in the year, art produced during the day and art inspired by the day will be shown at a major exhibition.
Each year expressions of interest are accepted for taking part in the Art in Open.
